Who can benefit from private instruction?

Everyone! No matter where you are on your training journey, you can benefit from private training. Some novices feel intimidated in a class setting, and prefer the individualized attention of private instructor. Alternatively, skilled shooters who want to hone in and improve one particular area also benefit from the personalized training.

What is the goal of private instruction?

The goal of private instruction is to offer a private, individualized experience so that a student can focus on improving their skill. Our goal is to help the student succeed, in a welcoming and comfortable environment that’s tailored just for you.

What courses/disciplines can I get private instruction for?

We offer private instruction for any courses in our catalog.

What is the cost for private instruction?

The cost for individualized, one-on-one instruction is $100/hour. For firearms courses, we require a minimum of four (4) hours due to the time and effort in the transport, setup, breakdown, and cleaning of firearms and other equipment. For all other courses, we require a two (2) hour minimum.

Is private instruction just for additional help?

No, some students prefer to take an entire course on a one-on-one basis. All of our courses are available via individualized instruction; just let us know if you are interested in taking an entire course privately and we can accommodate you. In most cases, the time saved from being taught individually makes it a more affordable option that most realize, since you’re not having to wait for an entire class to master a concept before moving on to the next material.
