LAMBDA CCW+ COURSE
Course Description
So, you have your CCW permit. Great! But…now what? This course is designed for the experienced student who already has a CCW permit, and is looking to develop advanced skills related to carrying their concealed pistol. The course consists of eight (8) hours of range instruction.
Course Objectives
The objective for this course is to build upon the knowledge, skills, and abilities of a current CCW holder. It’s aim is to better prepare an individual to defend themselves when carrying concealed, using advanced techniques.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, students will be confident and skilled at:
- Drawing from their holster
- Properly presenting the firearm towards the target
- Moving from cover to cover
- Identifying and engaging multiple targets
- Shooting from kneeling, prone, and supine positions
- Tactical reloading
- Drawing and shooting in various real-world scenarios
Students who successfully pass the course will receive an Advanced (CCW+) Course completion certificate.

Additional Information
Full payment is required to reserve a seat in the class, and completion of the standard Student Questionnaire upon enrollment is also mandatory. Range fees are set by the firing range, but are included in the course price; students are only responsible for bringing their own firearm, holster, and the ammunition they will be firing on the range. Students are asked to bring the firearm with them that they have a CCW permit for. Attire should be comfortable range attire, and not loose-fitting clothing. We will break for lunch, but also suggest bringing any snacks/water with you.
